Sidney Lanier is a co-founder of the Foundation for Conscious Evolution. He is working with Barbara as an “Elder from the Future,“ opening dialogue on the emerging relationship between the new man and the new woman as coequal cocreators. He is also bringing forward with Barbara a new Myth for the Western World, evolving our Judeo-Christian story in the light of the evolutionary potential of humanity. He brings to this work his experience as an Episcopal priest who founded the American Place Theater in New York City to support American playwrights. Subsequently, he started the first residential growth center in Spain. He convened A New American Place Forum in San Francisco to connect leaders in the human potential and transpersonal movements, and worked with Laurence S. Rockefeller’s Fund for the Enhancement of the Human Spirit.
