I am a teacher and counselor (Essence!), so I would love to form groups (pods?) in the area of Central Illinois where I live that will also embrace the human evolutionary story.

First steps on fulfilling my vision:
My church (U. U.) has lay presenters during the summer, so I am volunteering to speak of the evolution of the human during an August service.
Also, though I now live outside of Peoria in a retirement village, I am presently looking to move to a condo in the city in order to be more available when needed.  Scary!!!  Age 81!!!

If sourcing food differently by early humans five thousand years ago kickstarted the patriarchal system that is now outdating, changing our food now can jumpstart a new cultural system in which divine humans live more in harmony with Mother Earth and all her creatures. Make no mistake, 7 billion mouths eating from and consuming the planet daily tells the collective consciousness what kind of world we wish to live in….sick, polluted, and degraded or abundant, clean, and full of life.

Bringing more conscious awareness to everyday choices, even the most mundane ones, can shift the direction of human evolution away from a path of extinction. It is erroneous to think that we can shift consciousness, stop destroying the planet, preserve humankind, and further positive evolution without changing the way we eat.

We often talk about bringing more consciousness into our work, communication, worship, buying habits, relationships, transportation, and politics yet we fail to see how food weaves through everything we do, everything we encounter, and how it impacts everything we care about in life. Food is so ever-present, it’s nearly invisible.

First steps on fulfilling my vision:
Live, teach, and advocate for a plant-based diet, specifically a high-fruit diet.

I met Barbara at her talk in Charleston, SC with The Sophia Institute in March 2014. I love her material, work, and her books, however I find the omission of diet glaring. Any conversation about creating a better future for human life to continue on Earth is incomplete without discussing how we eat. Expecting the world to change without changing the way we eat is a recipe for ignorant self-destruction.

Save the humans. Study your food. Eat to evolve.

I wrote this to explain myself to Barbara and The Welcoming Committee:

My Vision is for a world of Deep Respect for Each Other - knowing fully that we are united by 'LIFE' itself. The fact that we are all breathing, all given this gift of existance, all experiencing this simple, yet profound unity bestowed upon us all equally by a universal 'Creator'.  The very idea of heirarchy cannot exist in the face of this awareness.  I would like to be a part of enableing all my Brothers & Sisters in the family of 'Man & Woman' to directly experience this oneness we all share, within this Universal SELF. In this 'experience' all fear falls away when we realise that the 'home' we are searching for is inside of each and every one of us - always has been and always will be. Birth and death become joined in the vast circle of existance and all we percieve is beheld within this enfoldment.  The vehicle for this connection is within the breath, the rememberance of which is offered when we let go completely and know that we are 'being breathed' by something far greater than our lesser 'selves'which we so often identify with.  This greater 'self' is experienced directly by the body which becomes the bridge between the infinite and the finite and our feeling centers become the true vehicle for direct in.tuition.
The 'Deep Respect' I am advocating is begun by an experience of 'Full Body Listening' between one and the other. It is about attention and awareness and giving, bringing us together into the present moment where we can unite within this greater self - recognising and re.membering who we truly are and simply living from this gift of life, of breath which by its very nature brings us into alignment with our Destiny quite simply and naturally irespective of intelect or differences on the outside.

First steps on fulfilling my vision:
The first step I have taken is to stop procrastinating and to find the courage to share my 'story', my wisdom, my life!
To find my voice and speak out without the fear of being alone, different or misunderstood - Realising that we are all unique and knowing that what I/you have to share will always be individual and that this 'individuality' is the very purpose of our seeming seperation. That it is, the way it is, for a reason. Finding that reason is one of the first steps and encouraging others to take that first step too.
(This video below is a personal attempt to express an aspect of our selves I refer to as our 'Universal/Greater Self' through the analagy of 'my van'as a vehicle through life - It was a part of a project called 'Ripple of change' and my offering was to truly listen for our 'selves' which can be found within the 'story' if we truly listen. It is a two fold project, one of listening to each other and at the same time listening for our 'Selves.' - I refer to it as Full Body Listening. More information on these ideas can be found on my website Where I am offering my 'Presence' with this 'listening experience'

My vision is to raise consciousness through teaching love--how to access it in all its forms to create a sustainable and thriving world/earth/human existence.  My work acknowledges that we are all under an extreme amount of stress, and along with it, we carry around the feeling of dread, helplessness and uncertainty, which creates physiological changes in the mind, body and energy systems that disable our body's natural ability to heal and our inherent ability to thrive as individuals and as a society.  My goal is to help others understand stress, stress physiology and how spirituality and love helps us find the balance we need to be happy and healthy today and shift the paradigm for generations to come so that we can coexist with duality, accept, appreciate and love fully.

First steps on fulfilling my vision:
I have and will continue to teach, write books, work with individuals, and live authentically, practicing what I preach.

I AM sharing UNIVERSAL Creation knowledge to assist in the awakening of Humanity's Awareness.

First steps on fulfilling my vision:
My IndividualSELF desire is to provide services to assist you in becoming a Sovereign UNIVERSAL Human Being.

Sovereignty is the recognition and demonstrated application that as a Human Being, you have a HigherSELF Heart and Mind that is the Life Pulse of your Individual Consciousness Sphere Body and through your HigherSELF Heart, you are complete and connected to all other life forms. A Sovereign Human Being understands he or she is responsible for IndividualSELF created life experiences, knowing also creation of new life experiences are originated, developed and created from the HigherSELF Heart and Mind. I think the many of the structures underlying systems as we know them today-monetary, educational, political, military, prison, healthcare, and medical are far from where they need to be, and they need to start evolving to catch up with the new wave of consciousness that is rising in the world.  The wave of consciousness of nurturing, compassion, transparency, forgiveness, soul, mindfulness, meaning, purpose, health, healing, care, and love.
If you look at the situations in the world that have caused turmoil, devastation, and suffering- they usually involved cruel acts - ones based on greed, fear, dogma, violence, lack, superiority, narrow mindedness, sickness, hate, and lack of recognition of the humanity within each of us.
But we all know that. You are nodding your head- and saying that is the way of the world. Is it? Does it have to be?

First steps on fulfilling my vision:
Right now I am just scratching the surface. I signed up and joined this site of like-minded folks, and started a blog and wrote down a few short paragraphs. This is a growing and evolving thing inside of me and it wants to come out so badly, but I don't have the entire blueprint laid out! As I am sure many of you can relate!

In considering a direction for my individual self as I understand it, I must consider evolution and what evolution favors. The reason I say this is because I believe if humans can identify what evolution favors, we have the best chance of survival as a species... However, remember "we" is only our simple understanding of the definition of the word "we". Again, I am not a smart man, but a thinker I am, and thinking is what I write. My understanding of evolution is it (as a whole) favors a species that utilizes less energy in order to foster more life and continual growth of physical life as we know it. My thoughts relate directly to energy. The utilization, and consumption of energy specifically. The planet we call home(physically) is an awe inspiring teacher in regards to physical survival. Trees teach us to build more lightweight reinforcing structures. Plants teach us how to synthesize sunlight and turn it into usable energy. This list can go on and on.  These natural things in our world have been here far longer than humans, and they are all teaching us how to survive on this planet.  What I am trying to get at here is beyond just a simple conversation about how we "need" to do certain things to sustain life as we understand it. I agree whole heartedly, we, as a species, have utilized and consumed more energy than was necessary in order to satisfy desires not of this planet, i.e.: televisions, computers, electronics, industry, greed, individuality, sadness, etc. etc. etc. All of these things arose out of consciousness and desire. They are all created by something we barely understand ourselves; individual conscious ability.  When I began to look at things from this perspective I reached a "fork in the road".  If I am to continue my life in a direction that I believe is proper, first I must know what proper is defined by, then I must consider my individual self as it is understood, then I must learn which direction would be most beneficial to our species.  There is one thing I left out, consciousness.  I am hypothesizing that our consciousness is not of this planet, but is from something we cannot yet understand.  I am including in this hypothesis the idea that consciousness is also evolving, however exponentially when compared to other species of this planet.  We are rapidly growing with information and the increase continues to increase daily.  The world wide web has become an extension of our consciousness.  As our conscious ability thrives on the web, our physical aspects remain stagnant, requiring increased energy.  Our bodies are dying, and our minds are expanding.  If you study the collapse of different societies you will see that they most typically statistically fail due to overconsumption of available natural resources.  What amazes me when I think about all of this is the fact that our consciousness almost seems to be transferring into the web, and our bodies are merely the vehicles consciousness currently uses.  My final question that I cannot help but ask, is consciousness bad, or is consciousness all we have as a species?  I believe all living things have a conscious, ours however seem to be focused on individuality, which has already proven to lead to overconsumption of available resources in past societies.

First steps on fulfilling my vision:
I am not sure there is such a thing as a first step, or even a step for that matter.  I believe consciousness is the essence of consciousness; meaning, consciousness always wants more, and is always in search of "itself".  Consciousness evolves rapidly, because consciousness needs to understand itself.  It is an inward type of perspective on learning.  Here's a first question, not so much a first step; What came first, the consciousness or the desire?
